I Finally Got A Chance To Punch The Car. I Got About 7 To 8 Boost But, Didnt See Much Pull Or A Wow At Least In Power I Have 373 Gears Jlt Intake Havent Put It On Yet, But Any 04 Sc Owners Out There. How You Feel About This What Do U Guys Think .its Like I Push It Wot In 3rd And It Get Boost But Dosent Really Trow Me Back To The Seat .

It seems all saleen blowers (Gen I, II, III, IV and even V...) have a very smooth power delivery.

in 3rd gear ian at 60 but today i tryed to punch it in 2nd an when i got to 3 rpm it kinda sliped or had a lag then it picked up why is that

I have an 04 281SC and I gotta say it's quick (stock just yet). At 60-70mph and nailing it in 3rd is awesome. Seems you have an issue my friend. It's under warranty, go have it checked out.

Secondly, I gotta say that I drove another 281SC prior to buying mine and it pulled like a normal Mustang. The dealer was trying to make excuses saying it was all there but I knew better and bought the one I did.

91 octane is cheap gas. You are supposed to use 92-93 octane ONLY. Anything else is hurting your motor.

Saleen flashes the CA models for 91 octane since that is the standard here. We get lower quality gas and pay a lot more.

I run both my S351's on 91 octane "cheap gas" as well. Don't have any problems with mine. California went to 91 octane in the mid 90's as our premium grade. If I want to run a tank of 101 octane, a local unocal 76 has it available at about $5.00 per gallon..........
