Got engine back together, but not back in. When I do drop it I was gonna put seafoam n..Any ever use this? I got some today and was wondering if its as good as it suppose to be? And it says to "pour it in crankcase(OIL)"? Would this be where pcv screen an gromet is? Or in actual oil fill neck? Put 3rd in gas, 3rd in oil and 3rd in vacuum line whats a good vac line for this to clean carbon build up? Think it said must go to all open ports

Hang on a minute...You said you "got engine back together". Why was it apart? How far did you tear it down? Was this your rebuild? You don't need to SeaFoam a rebuilt engine; it should be clean.

Personally i stay away from all additives... If you are using one its a band aid...

IIRC you found bad rings on two of your cyls. Considering you had the engine out you should of dropped the entire rotating assembly and honed out the cyl's as well as cleaned the block and checked the oil pick up and inspect the bearings/caps.

In which case if you still are thinking there is some crap in there run oil in it for a few hundred miles and switch it out.

Fresh Oil and Fresh Filter.

I've used SeaFoam to clean out my induction system. As an oil additive, I would stay clear. I'm not into that mechanic in a can stuff.

I didnt hone or anything just replaced pistons and all rings b/c Im gonna rebuild it in a few months anyway. Just wanted to get rid of carbon build up and stuff out. All fluids are out of the car, so when I drop it back in oil change will be done
