My $.02,
1) make sure you not only bolt the hard tail to the side of the frame (quad shock location) but to the bottom too like it was designed to do on Terminators from the factory. Maybe you could use 2x2 angle.
2) it's too late now but you should have bolted in the cradle and then unbolted/cut/fab'd up one tail at a time. This would greatly reduce any shifting the cradle might do when you unbolt and begin to modify. This would help ensure everything stays square.
3) like Scott (90sickfox), I will provide the measurement you are requesting when I get home later tonight. My car is already up anyway.

I checked mine...very hard to get to the bolt with my wheels on and front in the air. I measure from the bottom of the bracket to the center of the exhaust hanger.
That measurement would be about 8 inches even....with the addition of the two 1/16 stacked plates that make the bracket. The actual measurement would be 8 1/16th with the tip of the tape.

Haha! There is a disparity in our “status”. But that all sounds awesome! When my girlfriend, now wife, got pregnant with our daughter in 1996 I did a shifter kart school in San Diego and a Skip Barber school at Las Vegas speedway during the week of the blizzard of 1996.
