Shaker CD Player Replaced

I had the skipping problem with home burned CDs and it was cutting the end off of store bought CDs. So, I took it in for the 10K maintenance and asked them to fix the radio under the TSB. Well... they replaced the radio and 3 minutes after leaving the dealership it started skipping again...
So my question is: I had the "B" unit radio before, and they replaced it with another "B" unit. Is there a "C" unit yet? I'm curious to see what 2006 owners have. (you check by pressing the 3 and 6 buttons at the same time, then after it tests the speakers it will give you a number like 18C815JB. The last letter B is what I'm curious about).

I've got to say, I'm happy with the sound of the Skipper 1000, but for $1,300 I want to play CDs!!!

yeah i want to know what the shaker 500 on the 06 stangs its doing i want my dealer to replace it but i don't want them to replace it with one that will have problems also, if 06 shakers are good what version are they

my 05 was built 10/04 and i have the G unit. somebody said, oh no you have the dreaded g unit. but i have had very few problems with mine. look for a g unit, might work better. everyone else seems to be trading A for B and still having problems....just my .02
