I think that is the first time I have ever seen or heard of an engine twisting in the mount.

I mean... I could see if the bolts were loose? Even broken mounts still have the bolts and top plate still glued to the engine. Weird

I hear ya but that's absolutely what happened. theres even a scrape as the nut slid down on the drivers side and up on the passenger side. to be clear this was the stud that goes through the K

Just use fire to make the engine and K member one piece and no more problems

It was definitely twisted in the mounts. I helped him get it straight again. I suggested welding up the slots in the mounts.

Here’s a picture to show you guys. This time I made them as tight as I possibly could. I still feel like something filling that slot would be helpful.

I’m still out here having a blast with my fox. Not much has changed. I did put in a 180 stat to help with some heat soak issues and it’s made a huge difference. Other than that I’m loving this car. It is wicked fast and fun.
