Shifting Gears

Which is?
Patch them, throw in any sheet metal for the floor. That can be such a thing of beauty!

Restomod! Modern, badass drivetrain, bit*hin' suspension, some fat ass tires in the rear....Oooooooohhhh!

Ok, not my build, it's not my build, it's not my build.

Whatever you think Allen. Cool base to start with though.

What's hurting me is, the rusty truck isn't in good enough shape I don't think to use as is. There's not enough structure left in the hood, and the bottom of the cab is gone. I like shiny paint... But i like the "as is" look like Noobz and the others pointed out. Very torn on what to do. Maybe we should vote.

Oh, btw.. I can't find repop steel front fenders. Just glass, and they are 5-600 each. So, we have one set of fronts to patch up.

How cool would a heavily patinaed F-1 look with freshly welded patch panels and smooth weld lines? Be very industrial with old rusty steel and fresh welds on new metal- and by the time you are tired of looking at the new metal it will get a similar patina and blend in lol

But you think it should be painted?

Maybe we should build the rusty one and call it the Tetanus Shot?
