My stock shocks and struts have seen much better days. I don't know which ones I should go with. The car is just a street car. It will only see the track maybe 2-3 times a year. I'm going to stick with stock springs or maybe bullit springs. What should I go with and where did you get them? Thanks.

I was looking for stock replacements and found the KYB shocks and struts from summit racing. They are affordable enough for me.

Fronts: http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=partdetail.asp&part=KYB-235009&FROM=MG

Rear: http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=partdetail.asp&part=KYB-KG5551&FROM=MG

Quad shock: http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=partdetail.asp&part=KYB-KG4521&FROM=MG

around 240 bucks for all of them.....not too bad.

I put the same one's on one of my stangs last year. Really nice ride quality for a daily driver. Terrible roads in PA and the car is dead smooth. I wouldn't listen to all the KYB haters saying their junk. I have adjustable Koni's on my other car and some might argue it's great to have adjustability but honestly how many times are you going to adjust them on a daily driven car? Get a set you just slap on and go.

Saying the roads in PA are terrible is an understatement. I think I'll go the KYB. I can't really see myself wanting to adjust them. I'm just looking to build a street car not a race car.

I am glad the first response is positive and Not someone screaming that they're junk, just because they are cheap and non adjustable. I will never see a racetrack and have NO need for adjustable shocks or the 100 dollars they add to each. thanks for the input.:nice:

The Bullitt Set up is great on a Fox, it lowered my car about 3/4" which is just right for the bad roads around here, the car handles like it is on rails and the ride is better than it was with the stock stuff!

I was also considering going with the bullit stuff. Where did you get yours? Everything fits ok?

Are you refering to the suspension package? If so, summit carrys the package.

Here is the part number. FMS-M-5400-A The price is $394.88

Thanks:nice: I'm assuming the anti-roll bars won't fit since this kit is made for 94+ right?

This is my third foxbody. The first one I only changed the exterior (hood, wheels, ect.), the second one I went straight to the engine, and with this one since I need to replace some suspension stuff anyway, I think I'm going to start there. Like I said, I just want a street car, no track monster or anything like that. Plus it's not like I have unlimited money to throw at the car. This kit seems like a good start to me as I seem to hear nothing but good things about it. Any other opinions are welcomed

Everything from the Bullitt Kit fits great, lowered the front of the car about 7/8" and about 3/4" out back. I found PPI to be the best place to find "real" Bullitt stuff, for ease of terms I call it a kit, but PPI has or used to have everything individually. The so called kits you see advertised are a mismatched jumble of things from Mach 1s, Cobras, and if your lucky a Bullitt.

Does PPI have a website? Could you use the anti-roll bars too or won't they fit?
