i've narrowed my options down

2004 cobra bilstein HTs up front
new bilsteins in the rear
H&R SS springs

tokico HP's all around
H&R sports

are the cobra bilsteins ok? whats the differance in them and the HT and the HD? will i HONESTLY be that much more impressed with the bilsteins over the tokicos???

Havent got them off the car yet, but Im workin on it. I will try to get them off this week sometime. My only problem is that I dont have all the tools & jacks & stuff. Im not really looking forward to doing the work twice, & gotta make sure the car is gonna ride ok on the Mach 1 rears for a short time. I wish i could just install the rear coilovers now, but Im waiting for my buddy with the shop access to have time. Installing the rear c/o's & torque arm is a big job though. Im gonna have to do some more tailpipe mods to get the coilovers to fit too, otherwise i would already have them on the car.

i REALLY hate to keep asking but my timeline is getting really tight. as long as they are off this week i should be ok.

i gotta sell my other pair of 03 cobra mirrors and i should have more than enough cash for everything

THANKS FOR PUTTING UP WITH ME:D

I've actually had both setups. Previous setup on my GT was Tokico HP's all around with H&R Sports. Current setup is 03' Cobra Bilsteins all around (I swapped in an IRS) with Kenny Brown lowering springs - similar drop to my previous H&R's.

In my opinion both setups work fine and one is not DRASTICALLY different than the other. I never had a problem with the Tokico's and they rode great with the H&R's. I wouldn't have changed anything, if not for the IRS swap.

The new Cobra Bilstein setup also feels great and gets the job done in the same manner.

And in response to bullitt 736 about the dust boots: yeah from the factory Ford just put on the normal boots to cover the Bilstein struts. But I exchanged emails with Maximum Motorsports and they recommended to just not run the stock boot and put the strut in as is or you can purchase the correct boot direct from MM for $10 - LINK

So if you are short on cash and just looking to lower your car and get new struts/shocks - the Tokico and H&R combo will get the job done just fine. I ran that setup for almost two years and was very pleased. I even ran no Iso's all around to get a little more drop, and still had no problems with the ride.

do you have any pics of the SS springs with no iso's??
Pic in my SIG is H&R Sports with no Iso's - I don't have the SuperSports.

Other random pics that show the suspension, same setup as mentioned above:
