Side mirror removal

How hard is it to remove the side mirrors? Anyone have a step-by-step procedure? I will have my car stored in the garage 99% of the time this winter and I was thinking about dropping off my mirrors at a friends bodyshop and have him to paint them torch red when he has some free time this winter. Any special tools needed? Thanks

Pop the plastic interior piece off and remove the nuts. Unplug the harness connector.

Taking the mirrors off will be the easiest thing you will ever do on your car

I had my mirrors painted this summer. It looks so much better.
