I had KONI's on my 86 GT. And I have worked on several cars and when replacing the parts store struts there were these shims or spacers in there at the point the strut attaches to the skinnier spindle. But I cant remember for sure now what years were what. I think I have it straight but not sure. So is it the 87-93 the skinny one, and the 79-86 is the fatter. And what about 94-95. I am about to do the 5 lug thing in my 87 notch with some 95 spindles and hubs and want to use my 79-86 KONI reds. Is the fatness of the spindle going to be my only problem. What about lenght and othe factors. is this going to be a problem?
