i am looking to replace the 5.0 in my 1990 vert with one from a 94-95 car. I know the intake needs to be changed and i have heard that the timing cover also needs to be changed. What if I were to use all of the accessories from the sn95 car in my car? would that work, I know that the sn95 cars have electric fans unlike foxes. does anyone know of a good electric fan and a way to run it in my car. Does anyone see any other problems to this idea? Or should i just use a fox body front dress and change out the timing cover?

It would be easier to dress that motor with Fox accessories and just pick up an electric fan and wire it in on your own.
if you have a fox 5.0 I would just swap everything from it onto the sn95. I am sure someone on here has done this and could help ya out. I dont see why you couldnt run the sn95 acc. unless the harnesses are different and wouldnt plug in.
There are several ways to run an electric fan. One of the most popular is to run a taurus fan with a dcc controller. If you have the alternator from the sn95 then make sure you use it with the electric fan setup. I think they are the 130 amp and it will require wiring to be modified to use it but they are worth it.
