Did he fart? Why are the flames coming from the rear, and blowing forward?

Thanks! Don't mind if I do!

By the way, I'm not going to lie- I bought that issue, got about 5 beers in, and wrote them a scathing email, berating them for running that article, haha. Ahhh, I've got too much time on my hands.
I'm just afraid there will be another incident like the Probe/Mustang debacle of the 80s. This Focus ST garbage is a slippery slope. We, as consumers and car enthusiasts, need to make sure Ford doesn't get too high and mighty on their FWD campaign.

I don't think they're going to really screw the pooch on the next iteration of the Mustang, but the evo concept styling + all this talk of turbo 4s and stuff has me more than a little concerned. The current mustang is a good car with a real mustang design and feel. The Evo concepts I've seen don't feel Mustang to me, yet. It's ok, though. The fox was a pretty big departure from the previous stylings. So, I'll keep my fingers crossed and I hope that the plan to make the Mustang popular around the world works.

There's no crush zones on that impala. The engine bay was still solid as a rock after impact.

Haha, yep. I work in the automotive crash safety field. It's sometimes hard to explain to people the concept of energy absorption VS driving a brick.

Ah, now I get it. Forgot all about that. Good thing Mom's Pinto wagon never got rear-ended while we were doing the cross-country road trip when I was 7. Had the seat folded down and I slept and played in the back the whole way.
