Snapped clutch cable again!!! Where to buy FMS one.

Just like the title says. Where can I buy the FMS clutch cable. I don't want this thing breaking on me again. Thanks.

Even though the cable doesn't show it's applicable for our years will it still work?

And if I can pick a cable up from the local Ford dealership tomorrow would that be as good as the FMS one like on summit?

I messed around with this quite a bit last year. Most of the adjustable cables are made overseas with poor quality steel. I don't know where FR gets their adjustable cable, but the one included with the heavy duty fork kit is a stock '93 (and older) cable. (The dealers sell the cable for around $130, the FR kit includes the fork and cable for about $45!!!!) This cable can work on an SN95, but it's a couple inches shorter than a real SN95 cable, so you might have to play with the routing, and it will require a FWA with a solid quadrant. The '96 cable will also work on a 5.0 car, but it's even longer by about 8" - so the routing gets kind of difficult. I like the '93 cables since noboday makes a good firewall adjuster for the newer cables. The SN95+ cables don't have much plastic left once you peel off the shell and bushings, so they don't work very well with a firewall adjuster. The geometry get weird and it's a very unclean setup without a custom machined bushing. Good luck!
