Well, i was at the track sunday afternoon running great times with 1.7s 60's and at the very end of the track i heard this loud knocking noise and i was like ohhh BLLLEEEEEPPPPP, i tore up my bottom end...well it ended up being the belt tensioner banging up against the block...well today we put on a new belt tensioner and the car is missing really badly almost like it's firing on 7 cylinders and white puffs of smoke are coming out the back of the exhaust....we are thinking it may be one of the plugs but we also have concerns that it is inside the heads...what do ya'll think? what's the chances of it being in the heads or it just being the plugs??? we are taking the plugs out tomorrow to inspect them and if that is not the problem it's probably the heads....does anybody have any recommendations on what types of heads to go with (give me a link) for a supercharged application....

thanks

wesley

did you check your maf and everything to make sure its still connected? Could it be unspent fuel thats getting burned out?

I know when I blow off intercooler pipes there is big puffs of white smoke coming out the back.

How did you get home from the track?

Maybe when the tensioner gave out the belt smacked against something and unplugged/unhooked it..
