After searching for a good place to tint my rear windows I finally found a place that had a great ad in the phone book. I paid the shop a visit, the place looked very organized and clean. It was an indoor facility, the workers acted like professionals, tint was cut using a computerized database. The worker explained the type of tint i was getting and that it had Lifetime warranty blah blah blah...Waited 45 minutes and handed over $140.
When it was all done I looked at the tint and he quickly told me that it would take a few days for the tint to dry and the haze and small bubbles would go way with time....It's going on to the fifth day and the bubbles are still there! It looks like as if there are specs of who-knows-what in the hundreds of tiny bubbles. What should I say when i call them about the problem. Have them re-do it or have them take it off and get my money back? Now I'm scared they might mess up the interior with whatever they use to remove the tint, or mess up the defroster grids! What do you all think happened?

How often do you drive on sunny days?
The sun will help those bubbles go away.

I do tint every day. If you have them redo it there is a way to remove the tint without staining the interior or scratching off the defrosters. Dont worry and just take it back if the bubbles are not to your liking.

We cover the back window (inside) with the tint removing solution, cover it with a trash bag (inside) and let it soak in the sun or with a heat gun then it peels right off taking the glue and everything. That solution is basically water. It adds a small chemical that allows the water to seep through the tint and onto the other side so it comes right off. Wont stain anything.

Speaking of course how WE do tint removal....

PM me if you want more info.

The least lil specs of dirt or dust can really mess up a tint job imo. I sure dont have patients for tinting.
