I sold the '92 Cherokee that I bought a year and a half ago. This is what replaced it:

It's a '99. Got it for $3000.

I couldn't stand the little problems that I was having with the '92. (Windows would work when they wanted to. Same with the door locks. It has a scary-a$$ shimmy, at times, above 50mph. Heater only worked on "High". Etc.) It's sitting behind the "new" one, in the pics.

I like this one a bunch better. (Remote door locks. Great tires. Much more comfortable interior. A heater that will cook you, when it's 4 degrees outside. Lots of good stuff.)

nice jeep! i just bought one myself, identical to yours except green. Ive had it for a week now and love it. And you're right about the heater, 10 mins down the road and ive gotta cut the heat back even when its barely 20 outside.

Back in 2000 when I bought my first new vehicle it was almost one of these... I was soo close but no v8 ruined it for every day driving...

I'd put a stockish 4.0 H.O. up against a comparitavley stockish Mustang 5.0, anyday. (And I have been a Ford guy from the very start.)

There are guys on the Jeep Forum with over 400,000 miles on their unrebuilt 4.0's. And the torque is very much like the Mustang 5.0
