so i saw big daddy's car today...

So my buddy has a 347 in his car, and hes been trying to find a place to fix it that deals with pushrod motors and will deal with C&L MAF's cause many places don't. So i followed him to Outrageous Mustangs in Jackson, NJ this morn so i could give him a lift back home, and we got to see big daddy's car...in person...right there...in front of us. He was like, "whos big daddy?" so i pointed to the BFG poster on the wall with him pulling the wheels, and he goes OH ****! Sry if this is random, i just thought it was really cool.

No, that was Ronnie Sox of Sox & Martin. He had 5 NHRA Championships and was winner of more than 50 events. Don Garlits (the man we have to thank for viable rear engined dragsters) is still around.

yep..it was just wierd that it was right there...

funny story tho...i went to the bathroom to piss before i left the shop since it was over an hr drive, and after i flush and turn around to wash my hands at the sink, i look down, and theres like 10 huge nitrous bottles on the bathroom floor...i just cracked up, and i came out and the guy goes yea....its a lotta nitrous..
