Some Kenne Bell blower questions

What do you think the KB 6psi kit with my Comp Cams 270s, full exhaust, etc. would make power-wise? Supposidly, the 270s are actually well-suited as blower cams, but I'm wondering if it will keep the car under the magic 400hp mark until I can afford a forged short-block.

Is the KB tune safe enough to get me 2 hours from my house to get properly tuned?

Also, who sells them? I contaced T&J and Tim said he can't sell a kit unless they install it. Evidently KB has some wierd rules for their distributors.

BTW, this is something I can't do until spring-time. I'm just weighing all my options for now. I was thinking about porting the heads, but there is just something about getting blown that I've always liked

The kenne belle tune is best for a stock car, as it was designed for a stock GT. I emailed them not too long ago and asked them the same question about modded cars, and they said to make the most and the safest power, you will need a dyno tune from a shop who has experience with their blower.

I kind of figured that part. Seems like most of the guys that have them have a fairly stock car with just the blower. What I need to know is if the tune could get me 2 hours away from home without grenading the motor as I have no way of towing my car to Dayton.
