I am confused on the 3 pc bushing vs. spherical vs. whatever else. I just want something better than stock (for a weekend driver, non-race car but with improved handling and traction) and don't want a tone of noise through the rear. I am leaning towards going with the Steeda weight jackers w/ 3 piece. Any input is appreciated.

I have tried stock and poly bushings. The polyurethane ones seem to wear out faster than the rubber. They will firm up the car nicely, but when the holes wallow out they will get loose and sloppy.

I would not recommend the spherical units for a street car, as I think they would transmit too much noise and harshness.

For a street car, the poly ones are the best compromise.

My 82 made it into the the 12's with original 1980 stock rubber rear bushings. (The control arms came from an 80 donor car)
