Company picnic, obstacle course, fell off of something with enough velocity on par with roughly 20mph. It was just me, the ground, and everybody watching. Quiet the commotion, and I was one of the few sober ones

Well thanks guys. I talk to the surgeon Monday and will know what's happening with it then. Should be 4-6 weeks either way. Before the bone dovtor reset the arm, I was expecting to be kept overnight for emergency surgery. Thankfully the reset went better than expected (although he had a real tough time with it falling back out of place) and I was ok to get the hell out of there. Now I just hope I can get away w/o surgery & getting plates put in me, or at least I get thru it safely and my wrist isn't messed up for good.

Which of these famous, last words preceeded your injury, "Hey, y'all! Watch this!", "I can do that too!", or, "Hold my beer!"?

Neither but "watch this!" would fit best

The ironic part is others were literally fall-down drunk, and me the sober guy gets battered. My boss said I should've been drinking, haha.

it did for sure and i'm none too comfy now either. last night was indescribable due to meds wearing off, swelling myself into the splint cast, and the initial shock wearing off until the point where the dr. was able to loosen the splint a bit to ease the pressure and i was able to get the meds built up enough to take some edge off. ouchouchouch!
