SPX Filtran timing chain?!?! Anybody??

Hey i got thumper heads..and mike threw in a 9 key way double roller timing chain with them too...but it is a SPX Filtran the box says..and the bags it was in all say Made In China..i wasnt too enthused about that!!! anyone ever buy one or have one or know if its even a good piece????? looks ok i guess

I don't know about SPX Filtran, but the best timing chain I have ever seen was a rollmaster that was made in australia. Both sprockets were billet steel CNC machined and beautiful. I paid $89 for it a few years ago.

When you can get something that nice for ~$100 why take chances?

On the other hand, I wouldn't trust a $43 cloyes with a cast cam sprocket, so I'm picky.
