Last friday we were at a Independence day party, a guy that I am just getting to know (who is a State Trooper) says he has to go and be in a parade but he will be back. So...we are out in the yard and I hear that 5.0 howl coming down the street, I look and see my buddy driving this little sweet heart.:D

He says its still in service, but I have the feeling the most action it see's is in parades. Just thought i would share, my wife and I had grins on our face from ear to ear when we saw it.

How hard would it be to put that spotlight on another fox? I don't think I've ever seen a retired SSP with the spotlight still attached. That would be sick to have a fast ex-SSP in street trim with no other remaining indication that it was SSP besides the spot. Could you see that thing without the roof lights, a different paintjob and 17-inch wheels running a mid-10 quarter, all with the spotlight still hanging there?! MUOAHAHAHAHA.

theres a guy on here with one i think, his car is blue and white. i may be wrong though

i wouldnt mind gettin pulled over by that. lol
seriously tho, thats f-in badass! its in real good shape too!!

No doubt, the car is mint...I looked it over pretty good and it doesn't even look like its been really driven much. Like an idiot I didn't look at the odometer:nonono:

I have the feeling its in service, but only as a show piece somewhere.

FHP still has one SSP Mustang that is used primarily for parades and other such functions. If I could paint mine back to the black and creme FHP color scheme and put the decals back on I would do it in a heartbeat. Alas it is illegal in FL to have a car even painted in the same colors and design as an FHP car.
