Stage 1 Porting or Comp Cams?

I am going to be doing a PI swap this winter when the car is in storage. I have like $600 bucks extra to spare after the swap is all said and done. So the question is this, would I benefit more from stage 1 port and polish from fox lake racing, or a mild set of comp cams? I mean, obviously if I did both I would see the most gains, but I cant really afford that. Any opinions would be appreciated thanks.

With the mods that you have i'd say go with the Vt stage 1 cams...... check out www.modularpowerhouse.com/ they run around 550ish, the p&p would work too but you wouldnt realize the true potential without a power adder. The cams will give you a nasty top end charge

with the PI swap and exhaust done the cams would be taking a better advantage of those mods than porting.

Ok, well thanks for the input guys...now the only decision left to be made is what cams to get, so many options available..
