Hello All,

I have been thinking about this latley and wanted to start this thread. As you know all of us Dream & Dream & Dream and work hard to buy what we all think is our dream setup for our Mustangs. Well here is your chance to tell us your Dream of your PERFECT MUSTANG, because if you are like me I make list, plan, and quote my dream build prices all the time. So if its Turbo, N/A, Blower it dont matter just tell me your dream build, as I think this will be a very fun thread!

P.S Even if you have your dream build already share what you have and maybe you went differnet than what you really wanted to do.

Ohhhhhh!

Lets see:
Engine:
5.0 Aluminator
P&P Heads
Whipple 3.4
3" Pro Chamber
3" Borlas
Large capacity meth injection kit
SCT Extreme wireless touch screen tuner
Wide band O2
Should be 800+ rwhp

Suspension/driveline
Tubular K-member and controll arms
Stronger internals on the T56
Level 5 Half shafts
Larger sway bars
All supporting bushings

Wheels/Brakes
True Forged Mach5 wheels
Big ass 6 piston front brakes
Big ass 4 piston rear brakes

That would make my car about perfect IMO

I am thinking the money I would spend on my dream build (Aluminator, Hellion, fully built viper spec t56, Built 9", and the best susp and brakes money could buy plus all the supporting goodies) I would rather just buy that 2010 GT500. But it is fun to think about.

dream?

realistically...

BBK SSi intake if it ever comes out.
upgrade Vortech blower
electric water pump
trickflow heads
MPH Supercharger cams.
and various supporting mods.

this "should" yield a solid torque curve that doesn't sacrifice low end torque for top end power.

Totally un-achievable for me and if I ever had the means to build this car, watch out!!! lol.

This is with my GT...

Exterior:

Fresh repaint, either all white or white with black top or similar scheme.
Cowl hood.
Either rid the wing, fill in the holes or a Saleen or 03/04 Cobra wing.
Cobra side skirts.

Suspension/Wheels/Brakes:

Lightweight K-member, A-arms, coilover setup.
MM control arms, top and bottom.
Stiffer sways front and rear.
Panhard bar.
18x9/18x10 Chrome, or Hypercoated Saleen's.
Cobra brake swap.

Now for the good stuff... Drivetrain!!!

Forged, balanced DOHC 5.4L
Ported heads.
Custom ground cams.
One healthy single turbo setup.
Complete fuel system.
T-56 swap.
3.55's or 3.73's
31 splines with a more reliable limited slip than the trac-lok.

If we can dream, we can dream big...

Ok, now for something slightly more attainable...

4.6 bored over .020 or .030, whichever is the minimal to provide fresh cylinders.
Cobra crank.
Forged I-beam rods.
Forged pistons.
All new timing components.
Cobra oil pump.
Trick Flow heads.
Unsure about cams, probably a WELL developed off the shelf or custom grind depending on price.
Edelbrock Victor JR. intake.
NX kit jetted between a 150 and 200 shot.
Focus fuel pump.

Hooker longtubes.
O/R X pipe.
Borla Stingers.

Keep the exterior the way it is, possibly just changing the hood for a cowel and ridding the wing.

Black 17x9 and 17x10.5 FR-500's or my current Bullitts.

Cobra brake upgrade.

Subframe connectors.
Adjustable struts and shocks.
MM lower/upper control arms.

31 spline axles.
Extra clutch mod to the trac-lok.
3.73 gears.

I would love that.
