I personnally like the bush admin. I don't agree with all of the things they do but if Kerry or one of the other damn democrats get their hands on the presidncy it means no more shootin my SKS with a 40 round clip for my redneck a$$. Did yall know Kerry wanted to make everyone who owns a gun to register. That would be against my AMERICAN rights that state I have a right to bear arms.

The criminals don't register thier guns. I wonder just how those idiots up there think registering firearms is going to prevent crime. Oh yeah, it would make it easier for the to take them if a firearms ban was in place such as in Canada. They were trying to follow canada step for step, until the republicans come and f'd that up for them. HAHAHAHAHA.

amen brother, also homosexuals are a big problem in this world and we needs to stand up and do something about it and if you think homosexuality is right your wrong my opinion you can't do nothing about it.but thats another subject that i was surprised to see come up in this thread...

with street racing (quote) I "street race" whenever I get the itch. What I was saying was stop complaining about stupid **** when there's far worse going on right under our noses and nobody says anything.(end quote)YA ITS STUPID UNTIL SOMEONE KILLS YOUR MOTHER,SON WIFE OR SOMEONE ELSE IN YOUR FAMILY....THEN ITS WRONG, RIGHT....ITS NOT STUPID ITS MURDER YA THATS STUPID don't get mad at what i say just think about it,im old enough to know better....click on the links and read the facts http://www.partsamerica.com/MotorsportsRaceTrackProgram.aspx
http://www.nhra.com/streetlegal/stats.html
http://www.cbc.ca/news/background/crime/street-racing.html

Street racing done on city streets is illegal. You can be hurt or killed or even hurt or kill someone else. These are not merely speculations that some might say COULD happen. They have happened and continue to happen everyday due to those people who think that it is cool or fun to race cars on the streets. Nationwide statistics have shown that almost 50 people in every 1000 who are participating in street racing, are killed. That is a lot of young people that would be alive today if not for illegal street racing. 50 out of 100...

The bottom line is that street racing, while it might seem like fun and be a "rush", it is illegal and you can completely change your life in the short time that it takes to start up that car and take off. Just ask 15 year old Jeremy, who now speaks out about the dangers of street racing from his prison cell.

I PAY $10 AND RACE AT THE TRACK....find a track close to you and go to it if there is'nt one it may be a good buisness investment for you and others to buy into in your area...

I hear you. I used to street race, a lot, but I just won't do it anymore like I used to. It's one thing to get on it a little, but to go all out is another story. Many people who race will do it and use their brains, while other's won't. Those people ruin it for all of us. The don't know when to let off, and just don't use judgment. I was racing an Eclipse one night and some idiot in a Supra decided to drive oncomming to us, almost hit the eclipse. I knew if they collided, I would have had a chance of getting into trouble myself. The Supra boys (not men) would do that, find where everyone is drag racing, and cruise in the way because I guess they didn't like running from a dig. I got mad, didn't say anything, and the second time he came by showing off, I rolled a huge rock into the road, he came flying around the corner and let me tell you... those supra's arn't built to take a hard impact. Well, it's hard to get a true race on the street, because of all the other BS, and it's illegal and dangerous, so I gave it up.

I was just cruising next to a buddy in my Mustang (next to what later bacame my Camaro) and cop pulled us over and said we were planning a race. It scares me, I can be charged with racing just because my legal car comes next to another legal car. Once again... that's STUPID. I got a ticket for street racing... got it reduced to "laying drag" even though I didn't do anything. My lawyer told me that it is Policy here that they have to convict for street racing if it goes to trial, even if someone didn't do it and they know it. Now, speaking of corruption.

I to don't understand how homosexuality came into this. I'm sure it's dangerous to commit homosexual acts durring a street race, but that's al I can think of right now. Of course then again, maby vikingpower is a homosexual, and like many homosexuals, they think thier sexuality should be/is the topic of everything, then they wonder why knowone likes them.

I was thinking just like you, in tell you started talking bad about bush... But if you don't like street racing then start buy all the fast cars and shooting at the ones driving by you. Some people on here bi%ch about it, but I bet when some pulled up beside them at a street light and try to race. You have once or twice....

I have NEVER raced anyone on the street. I get challenged all the time.
I have watched a couple of my challengers get tickets, which makes up for all the challenges I have turned down.

The reason I don't is pretty simple.
When you are in a competition you don't think about what some of the consequences could be. During a race you don't think about what would happen if a dog or kid ran into the street. In my mind the competition pulls too much of the drivers attention.

Look at some of the things athletes do during competition. Not always the smartest, most sane choices. A good family oriented athlete can easily get into a fist fight during a competition. Your values change in the heat of battle.

Just my thoughts,
jason

you said alot here vikingpower i already replied to your first statement about racing but i would like you to think about one thing......what would you be saying now if one u.s soldier never entered iraq or any other terrorist land on this earth and another act of terror happened in our backyard say bombing of a ship or using planes as missles to kill and destroy?(can you answer this question)....sound familiar or have you forgotten there is many others if you need reminded....these soldiers which i am a part of,i volunteered are keeping our homeland safe i will not disrespect these soldiers or talk down about there mission they have accepted they die to keep us safe at home...GOD REST THERE SOUL AND I THANK GOD FOR THEM AND THERE FAMILYS WHO GAVE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE....i apologize for entertaining this subject in this thread but when i read the above post i had to reply and i hope vikingpower will think about what i said..we all have our opinions but maybe he will answer my question...
