I actually have one of those EGR delete plugs in mine also. Do you remember which wires colors connect from the pigtail to the stock wiring?
Looking at your diagram it looks like wires 27,46,26. Would 27 be the signal, 46 ground and 26 5v?
Yes, the pin numbers you listed are correct. I don't remember what mine was, but looking at the pigtail you bought I would say Black- grnd, Red- 5V and Yellow is your signal. There's no documentation or markings on the transducer?

The pigtail i posted is the one im going to use, i have not purchased a transducer yet as i keep reading mixed things when comparing the cheaper ebay
ones to ones that cost more.

check out www.lowdoller-motorsports.com/ for all your 5v pressure sensor, temp sensor or they even have combo pressure/temp sensors in 1 sensor . high quality sensors and pigtails for 1/3 the price of holley sensors. I am running 2 of their sensors with their 8.5ft harnesses that are finished w/connector on the sensor end and un-terminated on the other for you to splice in, and haven't had 1 issue.

For any guys running meth injex, I got my dads GN running with a SS relay and an alkycontrol kit, may do this motor as well. If nothing else, can do a vid of dads and what output to marry to on ms3pro. I hate piggybacks however the alky kit comes with some nice controllers if you choose to just use those. The water tables on TS arent all that.

they do just fine, an output to turn the pump on with a relay and a second pwm output to control a SS relay or even using one of the injector outputs to control a pwm solenoid.

W meth pumps are not designed to be PWM'd the nozzles require a min amount of pressure for atomization, the best option [only option in my opinion] is to pwm a solenoid. when you pwm the pump you have slow rate issues that act non linearly in relation to the amount of liquid sprayed.

The water meth tables in MS3 are designed with the " best case scenario " in mind using a pump and solenoid

for reference a pulse series solenoid is my go to for this. https://prometh.com/products/copy-of-extreme-duty-400-psi-solenoid?variant=19074395523

I read in the manual that there is an option to wire in a wideband(s) into the existing harness where the narrows are. Only 4 wires of course and I believe both the 4.2 and 4.9 are 6 wires if i remember. Is this just a stupid option? The pnp manual said it was possible. Im all about not running extra harness if i dont have to.

Im going to order one right now. Ill have to look at wiring diagrams to see if the wires are not congruent. I just kinda think that might be better than say an analog output from say an aem but I always overthink stuff. Just want the fastest hz to make it to the reader as possible. Not to hijack thread, but a boosted consideration (with massive disclaimer) as far as timing goes would be a good video for me. But probably only me and simply because I am not all that up on centrifugal timing techniques. Ill pay Scott Clark

Or you can pay me either way.

The narrowband in the factory harness is using the same input as a wideband would be, the AEM and the spartan both output an analog signal that the MS can use. now if you are using an MS3 then I suggest using the spartan3 or aem and using canbus connection.

timing is relative to the build and the octane used.

a safe place to start using premium fuel and an assumed CR of 9:1 is
29* at 2500 taper to 31* at redline 100kpa
then pull .75-1* per psi, this is plenty safe to get started.

target a AFR of 11.8-12 under boost to begin.

assuming you are doing streetcar things

Yes, i have track bikes if I wanna work on ETs, this is simply a fun street car. Did the front end, florida auto surgeons did a nice nice job k member, coil overs, etc. Still gotta do rear and a couple other stuff. Can I shoot you a msg and discuss remote tuning?

Looking at these megasquirt management systems. Have an 86 mustang. What do I need to convert it to a Mass Airflow setup?
I assume this kit a Mass airflow for the lb injectors I have and a splice in harness kit?

The MS out of the box is setup to run speed density, 99% of installs run speed density and very few use the MAF strategy once they go to a standalone ECU

So I guess not an issue with cams then?
I remember back in the day having to only buy Comp Cams that were speed density compatible. I installed a cam in my 93 F150 and had issues.

I went carbureted on my 351w swap into my other 86 mustang.

Spent a whole buncha time trying to get mine up n going. Laptop didnt detect it to connect and only the red tiny leds are on, none of the big LEDs are coming on. Put the stock ecu back in and it runs. Total PITA, most aftermarket installs go smoothly for me.

Did you install the drivers for your MS. On your laptop? Or. Check if antivirus is blocking. I had a similar issue doing my initial setup. Haven't finished yet but holidays are taking up my time

I installed the drivers. I think there is something else going on. I wonder if it was a com port issue. When I turn the key on, I hear device manager but its tripping me out why none of the other leds other than the small red ones are on
