Not BS.....its a fact! The Cobra is a little quicker than the GT. There have been a dozen threads over the last few years with drivers from both camps that have proved this. As the original poster stated, the early DOHC Cobra's are tough to get out of the hole with stock gears, which evens things up for the 2V, but where the 2V runs out of steam, the 4V has another 500-800 usable RPM to close the gap. The cars are close, I admit, but as I said all things being equal the Cobra's gonna put .2-.3 on the GT every time! If your buddies were having trouble with you when you were stock, it's because you beat the drivers, not the car.BooWFO said:Ummm BS 2 of my buddies have 97 cobra's I race them all the time. Nope we have been racing each other since our cars were stock. We have also been modding them at roughly the same time. Not to mention....we were talking STOCK cars here. Not a various bolt on GT vs a various Bolt on Cobra.
