Street Master, Master of all things automotive, Super Stallion

DC, I sort of feel the same way. Life's hard bro, and people only see their own lives as being hard and forget what it's like for others. Try to be more emphatic guys. I understand that everybody's going through tough times, even Bill Gates. :D
But please understand that it's not just you that's in pain or having to deal with tough situations, it's everyone around you as well. You'd be better off trying to help those around you then to shove them away. It's your friends that you got when you are up and it's only going to be them when you are down. Make sure you got THEM.

Hey DC, this is what I have learned in my 19 and a half years:
Life goes in cycles. Everyone goes through really tough times were you just wish you could crawl under a rock and never be with people. Then you go back through the times that you are just happy and everything seems ok. It always seems like the bad stuff lasts longer and doesn't have any kind of end in sight. But in perspective the good time is usually longer. It will get better and at least know everyone deals with it too, whether they admit it or not. :) But it always helps to have a friend or friends to vent your feelings to. I know I wouldn't have made it this far without my best friend. But remember it always gets better. :) Besides, just take joy in the fact that the people that complain about the job you are doing are just jealous that can't do what you are doing.

Hard times do typically befall those of our age, just egtting into college and whatnot. If you look at it as a whole the world for the most part isn't having the best time ever right now, but I can feel where you are coming from, I've been in the same place as well. Eventually most of the bad things will stop and go away, you just have to be strong enough to last until they do. I know that we have never actually met, but I know you can make it DC.

Thanks guys. I know I shouldn't really come to StangNet with my problems but there is so much one can handle. Thanks for listening and I think that's what I needed. Thanks again. Life is looking better already until I start my car in the morning and it just doesn't want to run right. :(

What did you expect? You used to be one of the crazy posters on the forum, then you become the forum janitor and your job becomes to stay out of threads with personal opinions, close threads that you normally would have laughed at, and do other **** that you aren't used to. Of course people like myself are gonna give you ****, you've gone from one end of the spectrum to the other. I will say this, I personally feel that Madman should allow the janitors to post more often, and not be under his gun so much. None of this would have happend if you were allowed to be yourself to a degree. Yes, janitors should have some guidelines, but come on, it is human nature to want to express your opinion. Bush is the president of the United States, biggest janitor of them all, and he gets to express his opinions on matters, why the hell can't the moderators at Stangnet? Now I suppose Madman is going to get pissed off at me again and say "your shenanigans are not funny" but you know what Madman? I don't think I am being funny here, I'm asking you a serious question, why can't the other janitors express themselves, you don't even pay them to keep their mouths shut and stay out of ****! You janitors are Madman's personal *****, you don't even get paid to keep out of topics, all you do is make the forum suck for yourself. I don't have any personal problems with the people of this forum, I'm sure in the real world you are all great people, but on here you are all submissive to the Big Nurse. Madman=Big Nurse=OWNS YOU. I will finish this unorganized and spontaneous post with this, in my opinion, janitors of the forum should be allowed to speak their mind, or they should be paid not to do so, otherwise, I'd just let Madman do all the custodial work he wants. Goodnight everybody.

I see what you are saying but you gotta look at it like this: StangNet moderators are an "employee" of StangNet (on rather if it is a real job is another discusssion). We have to follow the guidelines beause we are suppose to set an example. Behind the scenes, we are just like you with our posting. We post our opinions and I have before in here and got called rude! Also, understand that this is all new to me. Before, I never read each post because if something didn't interest me, I would pass it over. After, I read all the posts and it gets boring as crap on a stick in the middle of a lake. Here lately, I don't so much because you guys can pretty much moderate yourselves. I just read what I think will cause an agrument and watch it until it's over or until I or Slayr close it. As far as the Madman owns us, he doesn't. He has a "job" just like we do and he does it. This is why the site owner picked him to watch over the forums and to pick out those moderators that can help him. Get the picture?

And mean while back at the ranch, Linz starts frying some bacon and making waffles.....

Comeon guys! Dont make this thread turn for the worse!! This is a fun thread, not a bash sn administration thread! We already had our fun with that, when Big Probe was moderator!

Job=paid occupation, you can't consider this a job. It is volunteer work, community service, I guess if the sense of duty is that strong to give up what you used to do, then that is your own choice. I just think that you guys should be able to get involved in threads more freely.

Job means work. High school means homework, considered a job. College means a lot of homework, considered a full time job (at least for those that go 12+ hours a semester like I do). We can post freely but my "freely" posting was postwhoring. Madman wanted it to stop. I post*****d, I'm a mod. now so I had to stop. Can I still debate with you? Yes. Can I post for no reason? No. That is the only difference.

Well, I had a successful day.... pics of me trying to stick my head into a ricer's exhaust.... pics of me pushing a ricer's wing like a shopping cart, and know what really freaken sucked about the whole day, I had 3 pics left on the roll, rihgt, and I am chillin at a local car hang out, and what pulls up, but a Lamboghini Diablo VT.... brand spankin new, beautiful yellow.... and I took 2 pics, and then just after I asked the owner if it was cool if I could sit in it, the battery of my camera died. What luck. I'll post the pics when I get em developed :) Yay.

Speaking of Ethopian, did anybody know that there is a Ethiopian Restraunt somewhere in Birmingham? I would like to know how a country that is almost always having a famine can have a cuisine. That was kinda of subject, wait this thread never had a subject. :D
