I've been gone so long, and I come back to see that my favorite thread of ALL time is still in existence!
WHAT IS UP, yalls?! Big Don, Linz, DC, Silver...everyone! Wow, I dont think I've posted in here for months....so much has happened. I got into a pretty nasty fender bender, my car was in the shop for a month...
Get this, and this is why you should never race anyone, EVER. This guy was trying to race me one night, baiscally ran me off the road. I jumped a curb when my ABS kicked in and bent a controller arm, lower A arm, mushroomed the strut tower top, ruined two rims, the front left fender....bad.
But its back now, all better like nothing ever happened. I gotta tell you, I'm about this far from buying a 99 Cobra though. Its time for the upgrade.
Enough about me, how is everyone doing? What did I miss? Hope yall are doing well.

Sorry to hear about your awful accident. Im so glad you are ok. And your car as well. I cant believe there are some crazy people out there that would actually run someone off the road. That is some crazy stuff. Well, not much has happened in my life... just some new mods on the v6! And finally got to the track. Yay. So awsome about the 99 cobra 
Cobras are awesome. I love mine, and they are ALOT of fun to have. Are you gonna use it as a daily driver? Mine is. I just hit the 72,000 mark on mine. ANd its' a 96. HOW ARE YOU DOING!??!?! We missed you. You were even brought up in a thread called "Whatever happened too...." if you go back a couple of pages in the talk history, then you will see it. OHHH And DC became a moderator, if you didn't notice already!

Hey Dread, hows it been man? Sorry to hear about the fender bender...*tear*. That would be sweet if you could get a cobra man! Always good to upgrade! Not much has happened around here, Big Probe gone, DC here, pretty much it!

I am indeed back, and its so nice to hear from yall! Yeah, my cvar seems to be fine now, and I'm really looking forward to the Cobra....soon I hope. I'll try and post up here as much as I can but I'm so swamped at work its ridiculous. DC a mod?! How did that happen? Thats great tho, he deserves it. Well, back to the grind I'll try and check in often.

Yuck. Speaking of work, I have to work tommorrow from 6am till 6 pm. Just like every other day. BUT, Saturday, my mustang club (www.northernvirginiamustangclub.com) and the local Lightning club are going cruisin. Yay. OHHH!! If you go to the site I mentioned above and click on picture of the week.. THOSE ARE MY CARS!!! WHOOO HOOOOO!!!!!
This is a thread that has shifted topics a greater number of times than the number of pages it has, so it can't really be summed up. I would suggest either saving for a day when you are very bored or break it into small readings each day
hey how do i get to say SuperStanger and stuff like that instead of Memember under my name? I know im new to this board.. i dont know where else to ask but this thread... and could someone make a list of board abbreviations? like lotsa people say IMO and i still cant figure out what it means... sorry for being the lame newbie but i couldnt find the book "StangNet made easy for Dummies"
Let it rest in peace. Most of the discussion at the end of that one is so old we probably wouldn't even know what we were trying to say anymore It was a good thread though.
But, as for DJNitro, allow me to answer your questions:
IMO= In my opinion. I still type it out but I am old school and think using acronyms like that makes me sound like a 14 year-old girl Just joking, no one get too mad now.
As far as changing what is under your name, it will change in proportion to the number of posts you make in TECH forums, talk doesn't count anymore due to post*****s *cough* The new mod *cough* But every 100 posts you get will yield a new title until a certain point, at which time it will be around 300 for each title, and you top out at 1500 with Super Stallion. I personally think I have like 970 or something like that, so I get to be a Super Stanger.
In addition to all of these there is the coveted custom title, but don't worry about that yet, it takes some connections or some really original (or stupid) sayings to get one, which I am still trying to work on.
