And finally the happy ending to my long quest. i took delivery of the Jetta about 7:45 or so eastern time, and have since had many wonderful shifts. Now I want a shirt!

Know what someone told me... they were like "If your reaction times were better youd be in the 14's."

Yeah right. reaction time has notin to do with it. And even if it did, my reaction times are hard to beat... The highest one I've EVER had was a .617.... Best .513

Hey linz, with the gears and the T-lok I think you can run 14s. Do you take out your spare tire when you makes runs?

Either way.. you have pretty darn good reaction times.. and weither your reaction times are good or not.. I think you'll be in the 14's.. anyone wanna make a cash bet???

As for taking the spare tire out, nope, I ran with all my junk in the car, 5000 feet above sea level, in 76 degree weather w/ 70% humidity, and with a 3/4 tank of gas and street tires

I got my subframe connectors put on today... its a VERY nice mod. It feels so much stiffer I took it out on a back country road, taking turns and launcing. Good times!

Take out the spare and the jack, try to run on half a tank of gas, and you should run a 14.xx. Thanks for the compliment on my car, you gotta love the smell of new leather!
