I plan on getting an Accufab plenum/tb combo this spring but don't want to have to stop using the strut tower brace. Are there any aftermarket braces that will work with the plenum/tb combo?? I know Americanmuscle doesn't show any for 94-98 stangs specifically but are there any other places that would offer one or should I possibly just hack the old one off where there are contact issues and try weld some bends in to make it fit?

I suppose I could also ask...I have been planning on going with an O/R xpipe forever now, but yesterday when I pulled the stang out I realized how loud the exhaust already was inside and figured long drives might drive me insane if I didn't have any cats. Think I should just go with the O/R still or get high-flow catted pipes?

I used my stock brace with when i put the Accufab on. I also have the BBK CAI.

When you look at it, it doesn't seem like it will work. Actually, it seems impossible, but it will work. I removed the passenger side bolts to the brace, held it up, and installed the CAI pipe. I had to twist the pipe down where it bends going into the TB, so it will clear the brace. I put the bolts back in for the brace and i have a good .5" clearance.

Here's a picture. When i twisted the CAI pipe, it pointed the hose that goes to the IAC up farther. Get it to look like mine and it should work. If you can't get it, just keep moving it around to get more clearance. There is no cutting or welding involved.
