got a stock 94 svt cobra, except for larger intake and catless bbk xpipe and flowmasters... i've heard they have forged internals? im look at a procharger P1-sc compressor with a 2 core intercooler think it could handle it?
They don't have forged internals, but you could run 10psi on the stock engine with no problems. Just make sure to get it tuned after you install the supercharger.
I had a 95 GT with a P600B and 3 core intercooler, aluminum heads, cobra intake, and exhuast. The cam was stock and the car hauled serious butt. My best time was 13.31@113MPH. The thing that killed my time was the stock 3.08 gear!!!! However the car was a freek on the freeway, 2nd gear drops at 60MPH was an instant 11psi, and the car was untouchable....insane speed on the freeway!!!

As stated, no forge internals. Hyperutectic pistons. Same crank, rods & block as all other 5.0 Mustangs from like 87. With a good tune (keep detonation from happening) and low boost, below 10 psi the motor "should" last for a while.
Thanks yeah, I loved that car. It was a convertible too! I had stock wheels and tires so it was a real sleeper. You should have seen me reel people in and pass them after the 1/8th. Some weekends I had to sandbag, because they kicked me out once. Other weekends, they would just let me go. That was my best time ever, and it was my last....I sold the car 3 months later. I just bought it to have fun that summer when I was 19, then sold it for a little profit. Ahhh....the memories....
