I have a 89 mustang, novi 1000, sct chip programed by the mustang shop, edelbroke intake, lightning mass air, 42 lb injectors and 255 lph fuel pump.
Car revs up to about 2500-3000 rpm then goes to idle and dies. I checked vacuum at idle at the intake and there is none, but then when I rev it up then it makes 17-20 HG (i thought it should be producing a tiny bit of boost since it isn't under load). Car also intermittently smokes greyish after running for about a minute.
I can get the car to idle with the mass air meter unplugged, but won't idle at all with it plugged in. If I rev it from 2500-3000 rpm then it runs perfect, but smokes.
