I've been running 8lbs for 5 summers now. No problems whatsoever.
A 96-98 Cobra engine can safely handle 15lbs of boost with water/methanol injection, good tuning and premium fuel. It will make over 500RWHP.
Without meth, I wouldn't go over 10lbs unless you run race gas.
