I've been debating whether I wanted to do cam's, upper intake, and possibly a headswap but now I've decided to get the Kenne Bell kit for the 96-98. I have 114K miles on my car now but they are mostly highway from the time I bought it with 46K in July of 2002. I know these engines are OK until about 425 HP on stock internals but what about on a higher mileage car? Anyone with any experience? I'm only going to be pushing 350-360 HP at the most at 9 psi. The KB website says there shouldn't be any issues for a higher mileage car but I wanted more opinions.

I'm pushing a few miles less in my 98 .... I've opted for a fresh new short block/forged internal and whole nine to mate up with a KB. :D

After 100K, I think it's safer to start over if you're going to push anything over 300rwhp. Considering the tranny has been around for all those miles too. :nonono: Nah, new stuff for me. That would be my reccommendation.
