I will be getting around 5K to spend on my stang within the next few monthes and I thought I was sold on the Mongoose kit from MPH. But I have found a site that can sell me an entire Cobra motor with ECU and Trans . For 5700.00

What do you think I should do. ?

Stick with the Mongoose idea. Even if you do get the engine for $5,700.00, there are at least another $2-3,000 worth of odds and ends you're going to need to make that thing work in your GT. Not to mention that the Mongoose blown SOCH will wipe the floor with a N/A DOHC. Sure, it would be unique to have the Cobra engine in a GT, but not unique enough to justify the cake you're gonna have to spend in order to get it there.

I'd go with Mongoose Kit....changing the motor, tranny, ecu is not going to be as simple as adding a supercharger.

Plus you'll have more power with teh mongoose kit for less money.
