so while I had the center console out to do the emergency brake lever modification, I decided I should exchange the instrument cluster I picked up off Craigslist. my factory tach did not start working until 2800 rpm, and this one was said to work perfect and had nice white face gauges. paid only $50 so I thought it was a good deal. i plugged it in and everything seemed to work great. until I noticed the air bag light flashing. does anyone have any clue what would cause that? could it be the cluster? could I have damaged something? next step is for me to remove it and see if my old one does it too..... anyone have suggestions tho?

Doubt it's the cluster. None of the wiring routes to the cluster from the airbag.

Probably something was disconnected. Did you pull the wheel?

There is way to pull airbag codes and see what it doesn't like to narrow things down.

Also, if you swapped clusters, it is possible to correct to odometer easily to keep the miles accurate. Unsure how importNt that is to you

all 4 wheels were off due all the suspension upgrades we were doing..... what should I be looking for?

so my buddy started the car 2 times on Sunday and 2 x on Monday and key it fun for a few minutes each time, and the air bag light is no longer blinking..... has anyone experienced this
?

so it's def blinking..... first I got a code 52. shortly there after it changed to 12 and that's what I have no. I'm guessing a wire or something got snagged when I put in the new cluster. I don't know.....
