I want to replace my 19's with 24's. The car is equipped with a superchip from JMS. I called them the other day and was told that they can reburn the chip to handle the larger injectors without having to replace the stock AFM or TB. Has anyone done this and what were the results? Should I go this route or just buy a new C&L meter and pipe assembly? The car has a stock shortblock with Trick Flow street,Iron GT40's,Steeda 19,Ford Racing and Bassani exhaust, and 3.73's.

stick with the stockers. i had 24's and went back to the 19's. you should be able to run without the chip. i also had the c&l kit and ended up selling it. just spend $50 on a drop in k&n and put that money towards something else. just my .02

What problems did you have with the meter and the injectors?

the best bet would be to get a tune that is for the inj. and that leaves your stock maf in place. I am not a big fan of the aftermarket "fool" type mafs for several reasons. Getting your inj. values setup correctly and leaving your maf alone will result in the best all around outcome.

The stock maf and t-body are good for around 290-300 rwhp so your not going to "need" them with the mods listed yet.

no problems. just would have been better off spending the money on something else. i read your post on sfs. since you have the injectors your best bet if you want a maf is to get one from pmass/pro-m. that or like mentioned above have it tuned for the injectors using the stock maf.
