The pictures that I will try and post show the current fuel pluming. I don't like how it is routed and want to hide some of it in the passenge fender well. But I don't know what I am looking at. Can someone give me a short lesson on a n fitting sizes, how to tell what I already have, what is the recommended size for fuel etc. if I want to add some fittings or lengthen a hose do to routing?

The second picture shows how someone attached the stock fuel line with a mess of fittings and connected it to some a n fittings. This looks like crap. How would you change this to look good? If I had to I would start over and run new s/s braided lines and use the proper connections. What sizes, and where can I get this stuff locally?

Thanks,
Ben SEMPER FI

-6 going into fuel reg(return line), -8 coming out of fender and going into Y block(feed line). Both stock feed/ pressure line and return lines were run parallel so actually both come out from the fender. The smaller of the 2 is the return.

I would not go local for fittings. Summit/ Jegs will be WAY cheaper. The locals want too much.
I ran a pretty big system on my 1st 93, -10 from the pickup to the pre-filter/pump, -8 from the pump to a Y block, 2 -8 lines from Y block to Vortech rails, 2 -6 lines from rails to reg, 1 -6 line from reg to tank. My Y block was just behind mr passenger side strut tower and regulator was where the stock airbox used to be.
Really depends on how much fuel you need. I was expecting 700ish on a blown motor so I didnt play around and went full aftermarket for everything. Nothing was stock in my fuel system. It was also way overkill when it came to line size. I just didnt want to run out of fuel volume.
I'll post a pic.

The engine had Vortex fuel rails on it when I raced it last season. That will stay the same, it's that I really don't like the way the fuel system looks. Sort of a neat freak and I like to have things organized. Simple and functionable. Going to re-route some stuff and hide others.

I don't think my hp and tq numbers will be too far off this year, with the 150 hp shot of the silly gas it is 420 rwhp and 506 rwtq. I should get a touch more. Got rid of the power steering, no more fan, went electric, underdrive pulleys, and some other little stuff.

Thanks,
Ben
