After some major fuel table overhauling, it runs. Wasn’t able to get a video worth watching but hopefully I can get one tomorrow.

Oh yeah? Well, I'm putting Halloween decorations out. Maybe I won't have time to watch your video!

Ok... I'll be back later then.

Here’s the video if it worked. I believe the popping sound is some fuel lighting off in the downpipes. Bought some new plugs to swap in tonight. Going to drop the transmission and swap in a TCI flexplate I bought locally today.

Redid the fan wiring, plumbed the rest of the C02. Pretty pleased with how the rats nest ended up.

The old phone did that because the camera was faulty. I guess it’s still the coils messing with it now. I almost wonder if the coils didn’t cause the old camera to take a dump.

I don’t have much time off work the next week or two but going to work late tonight. Hopefully soon!

Got the wiring finished up (minus lights) and put some of the interior back in. Probably end up tucking the harness on the passenger side behind the carpet, or try and tie it up under the dash away from feet. Overwise I’m content with the overhaul. At least the bolts fit in this one. Spent so long on the interior I lost my enthusiasm for dropping the transmission tonight. Maybe next weekend.

This is a horrible time of year to be getting as close as I finally am

The tube front end looks better and better every time I see it. Might need to do that one day.

Should I paint the front end tubing the hammertone silver to match the cage or just black?

Need to get that done, it’s starting to show some surface rust.

Need to get that done, it’s starting to show some surface rust. And sweet Jesus, I need to fix the drivers side apron area. That’s horrible to look at all blown up on a computer screen.

Wrinkle black.....

Nothing says " Years of neglected, piled up sludge" quite as effective as a fresh coat of thickly applied wrinkle black.

I wrinkle-blacked the charge pipe and only 80% of it wrinkled. I have a gift with that stuff.

I will say when it works, it’s fantastic at making bad welds look like good welds and that’s worth something.

Well,..if you need some reference for " just how wrinkled will this get?" You can always look back at my engine pics.

Mine wrinkled so extreme, it made a raisin look like a grape.
