Got about as far as I can get without the turbo in my hands. Hopefully Tuesday night I’ll get something worth looking at goin on. This split downpipe is going to be tricky.

I wasn’t alone today though. As you can see, he wasn’t much help but it made for a good morning

Got a few things knocked out today.

Built a throttle bracket to use a foxbody cable. I’ve grown to hate Lokars.

Also got the catch can mounted.

And finally, for whatever reason, I decided to start tackling the power windows. Took a lot of digging around but I eventually figured out how to Hotwire them without the GEM module. The drivers side window is now in action. Have to figure out how to tie the passenger side door in tomorrow.

Build the downpipe merge after work today.4” in to dual 3.5”. Might take another shot at it tomorrow but it came out alright

Also stripped the paint off the charge pipe and got the fuel pressure transducer adapted to the regulator. Harness wouldn’t reach and didn’t want to splice into it

Got the new end tank fitted up

Also got the turbo to IC charge piping mocked up.
Ran out of argon Saturday morning so that put a damper on things but I’m super super happy that this single turbo deal is coming together like it is. Should have ditched the twins months ago.

Finished up the center section

Here’s the fitment around the hotside. Need to pull it all back out, final weld the crossover and wrap it as well. Then I’ll do the ends of the downpipe. Should probably get the fenders mounted back on first

Sits higher than the kmember and steering rack so I think I’ll be good to go

Went ahead and welded in a bung for a second wideband. Which thinking back on it now probably doesn’t make any sense being single exhaust split. Can’t imagine it’s an accurate representation of cylinder banks. Didn’t think that one through very well turns out.

Very clever Tanner, I really like the ingenuity you are showing in your hot side.

Yeah, maybe one O2 sensor would be all you need, lol.

Got the crossover finished and the wastegates mounted.

Need to do a cam swap so I’ll probably leave the turbo stuff off until I get around to that
