please excuse the crappyness of the pic--just got the camera and that was literally the first pic i took with it. it lets you manually adjust the settings, so i'm gonna have fun with all that stuff tomorrow during the daylight hours. that, and crappy weather make for a crappy pic, but here's a teaser for things to come.

having some fitment issues and the areas around where the pins go are weak, but if we can get it squared away and beefed up a bit, i'm definately keeping it. got a hell of a deal--$150. 95 R hood with what looks to be about a 2.5--3" cowl.

picked up some paint yesterday for the hood and bumpers, and after we're done fitting it to the car and installing some locking pins it should be painted w/in the next few days if the weather permits. i'm stoked! now to get the gt40p engine in there w/in the next couple weeks over the break!!

updated pics coming soon--tinted tails, new headlights, new interior, maybe some engine build-up shots, too.

thanks, gents!

guero: yeah, i've driven it around since then. the first couple of days after i hit the curb i was rolling around w/ duck-taped bumpers (limped the 2-hour drive home), hehe, but have since fixed the damage structurally--now it just needs paint. i haven't started sanding yet because the weather's been cold & rainy. soon as we have a sunny day i'm gonna get 'em done. here's how we fixed it:

gonna sand it down and smooth it out w/ some putty--should hopefully look good as new when i'm done.
