It was a matter of time before someone had to start comparing apples to oranges. As already mentioned, it's all about personal taste. For myself, 99.9% of spirited driving will be in a straight line, so a twin screw or turbo 800+rwhp GT500 would better suit me.

Yes a new Z06 is faster and better handling then a GT500 but for 20K I could make a GY500 stomp a Z06.

My next door neighbor said the same thing about his motor swap, turbo civic running 11.20's at 120+. Car might have been worth 2k before his mods. 10-12k, and he knocking on 11's.

You can make a 4 wheeler trap 95mph in the 1/8. (yes, I have seen one) for 9k. So what? These comments originate from ricers, towards GT's/camaros/muscle cars. Muscle cars do the same to z06's/vipers. z06's/vipers do the same to porsche turbos/supercars. It's the dumbest argument ever.

Meh,id still be happier with a new GT500 and 20K in mods then I would be with a new Z06 that was bone stock.
Ive owned allot of different high performance machines and like all cars if they can perform. It just boils down to taste.

But this thread is Snake VS Snake. The newer one is much more civilized and comfertable. Its also capeable of greater power levels too. A Termi is just more fun though and with the right mods done the right way they can be slot cars.
