Hey Guys, I'm looking for the best way to built 500rhp. All the ideas I can get, this might be for a convertable, I know the first thing is subframe connectors, and I know what exhaust system I want to put on already starting with the headers, but thats it. I need to know what block to go with so I can bored it out. Should I put a stroker in it, and after that what heads, intake, cam, and what gear should I use. The last thing i was thinking to put on after all that is a supercharger. Will all that make 500rhp, please any info you can put in, I really am in dire need. Please help to fill in the gaps.

What year is your car?

If it is before 1989, convert to mass air.

Go with a Dart Sportsman block to handle the power

Custom camshaft

AFR/TFS 185 heads

TFS intake

331 Internally balanced forged rotating assembly

Turbo/intercooler set up

Should net you easily 500rwhp

The best way could be quite expensive. A Dart block alone is roughly $2,000 before machining. If you choose to do it with a stock block, you're playing with fire, and at some point are bound to get burned when you split the block right up the middle...

Youll need to make something like 633 HP at the crank to get that power at the Rears. Watch the "Pinks" episode with the black LX with the red flames and see what happs to that block when he turns up the nitrous to try to win the next race. Tha baby split right down the middle. Halved the water pump perfectly. Get an R302 or DArt and go from there.

351W,go to a 408/418 with 10.5:1 compression

Victor Jr. heads,"street" solid roller cam (custom would be the way to go),Super Victor intake with a 850 carb, 1 3/4" headers should be enough.

Put on a nitrous plate with a 200hp shot and you'll be good to go,and it wont cost too much.

If running a Manual Tranny figure for about a 15 Percent Drivetrain loss, you will need to make about 588 HP at the Engine to get you about 500 at the rear wheels.

Your actualy both wrong...you see the Honda engineers have discovered a new form of engine called

V-TREK

It borrowes hyperdrive technology right from Star Trek.

Warp 9 kickin' in yo!
