Ok, apparently the last few times I went on the dyno I was getting STD #'s which everyone hated . Thankfully the shop had all my dyno runs saved on their program and we were able to convert all my pulls to get SAE #s. New #'s have been posted in sig
I dont know if/when Ill be able to get my new dyno posted on here, but you can really see the difference the L/T's made above 4500rpm, and througout the power band for that matter. My curve used to drop dramatically after 4900 or so, now it is as level as it can be . All in all I have spent a hair over $2000 not counting gears and that install, and have went from 226.0rwhp and 259.0ft/lb of torque to 266.3rwhp and 303.8ft/lb or torque. I might drop another $500 in it to do the Accufab TB/Plenum combo, but I am undecided at the momment.

As for my car... well Im pretty with it now!

Nice numbers!!! Usually people say that LT's are a waste, but w/ those kind of numbers, I may consider getting a pair. How much $$$ for the BBK's?

Nice numbers. To confirm all you have are Flows, pulleys, diablo, cai, and longtubes installed. Question for you: is your diablo a mail order tune or a custom tune?

REALLY nice gains

L/T's always show gains like this whether it be a magazine or most guys that put them on. It always seems like a 15+ horse gain. I think people bad mouth them becuse its a pain in the A$$ mod that most guys dont want to do. they are so much harder to install than shorties.

You get a plenum and T/B wow thatll be awesome. GJ

Thanks guys,

Yes those are my power mods... BBK CAI, Steeda Pulleys, BBK L/T's, Hi Flow mid, Flowmaster 40's, and Diablo Sport Chip. The chip is a custom tune. I guess a Plenum TB is the next mod then

This confirms it.

First let me say this is mu opinion and I in no way mean disrespect to anyone.
I had decided not to do all the small stuff (gears, pulleys, TB...) due to the small gains in HP for the large cost, but to save up my pennies and get a Kenny Bell twin screw supercharger. To see that you spent $2000 for 40 HP really seals it. For the $4000 base KB 100 hp can be added. I don't know maybe another 2000 could bring your HP numbers up to that of a supercharger but I am doubtful.

I feel ya Russ, nickle and diming yourself can get trying. Some peoples goal might just to be able to run low 13s or hang with LS1s. To each his own. I wanted to add 100 hp, so I spent $470 on an NX nitrous kit and I can give supercharger guys a run for their money. So why spend $4000 when you can spend $500 for the same hp gain??

Hey I tought about the bottle way, but want hp anytime i get the need. From what I know to run juice correctly you have to maintain bottle pressure.
How much of a pain is that. Do you have to set the system up regularly, or what?

Your right to each his own. I have a '90 5.0 that is going to be my big money car. I just wanted to give my '03 a kick in the pants so to speak without dropping 4-5000 for a s/c and a couple little extras. If I wanted to run this car then by all means I would have forged the internals and stuck a s/c on it with full exhaust. Thats not my goal with this car. I have done pretty much what I wanted to do with it so I am satisfied.
