Got the springs in. Seems to be sitting a little high in back. But I just mite be used to driving with drag springs. They have been in for 4 years now. It "does" ride a hell of a lot better!

Did you get my PM Matt?

I haven't gotten too much done thats worthy of taking pictures. I've been working with my girfriends brother on doing to SN95 wiring conversion, taking all the plugs from the 98 harness and grafting them into the 89 harness. I'm hoping that I will have everything working such as the hazard switch, rear defroster switch, dash top clock and what not, for a factory feel so that EVERYTHING works. After the wiring is in, I'm going to be working on getting the dash and console painted. I have to POR15 the floor pans and then dynamat them. I want the car to be light but I'm going to sacrifice some weight and dynamat everything.

I guess I should update this thing to keep you guys informed. I haven't gotten too far. I haven't gotten the pics up of my exhaust and drivetrain and such. I've been working on the wiring for the past two weeks. The dash harness is a huge PITA! I still have to figure the wiring for the 98 door switches and such. I wired in my MSD and two step relay, just gotta run a couple power wires once the dash harness is in and good. I'm not putting any date on when the thing will fire up but I'm hoping its not gonna be much longer. I will post pics an vids as soon as I get her running.

PLEASE document this while you're doing it!! I tried to do the same thing with my 86 - 89 dash swap. I figured i could just match colors, well it wasn't that easy and not much worked

Ended up swapping out all the wires haha

I was going to but I got lost. I've been using alot of diagrams and pictures used from SHOPKEY. My girlfriends brothers wife's brother has a shop and this program helped us a ton with finding what each wire did and everything. Its a huge job, definatly very time consuming. I would have taken pictures but I wouldn't have been able to explain them. lol. A good diagram of both the 89 and going one wire at a time is the only way to do it.

I only work on it once or twice a week, she knows Saturdays is the car day and I don't see her a couple nights a week so I use those days to work on the car too. She understands cause she's into horses so she understands the time it takes. I got that bitch on lock down.

Nice, it helps having a GF that doesn't mind. Lately I have been using weekend to wrench on the boat, and my sig other wants to help with the cabin work! She helped pick out the fabrics, trim, carpet and such!

She def loves to ride other than horses, horse girls are an interesting bunch lol. The wiring for the swap is the biggest pain in the ass. If I were to do the swap, I wouldn't touch the wiring. Too much of a pain in the ass.
