Pete, was kind enough to let me look over all three of his projects yesterday for quite awhile. I must say that the pictures do not do his work justice. The cars are incredible, his attention to detail is outstanding, the interior on the red convertible is truly a work of art. I am looking forward to seeing them on the road.
67 fastback
I have a 4 wheel drum brakes . is there a way i can but disk with power
and is it hard to do or will i need a shop do do it. Also i want to convert my 67 into a shelby clone. Dont think i can make it as nice as the red convert. but i want to try. Maybe like the one in gone in sixty seconds. But the body kit is so expensive.

289 and 302 engines
i heard i can buy the parts for the 5.0 302 engine and use it on a 289. have a 67 and was wondering if i could use the gt40 heads and stuff like that.
I want to make it faster and it has a 4 bbl carb. What are things i can do or is it better to buy another new bigger block. like a 331 or something storked. Thing is i dont have much money. And ideas on where i can get a good bigger motor for a 67 fastback and will it still work with the tranny 3 speed i have or should i get a 4 speed or just go with a t-5?

Oops! Sorry, I was actually looking at pictures of the "blue" car. I was curious because my '65 is twilight turquoise, and that car seems similar. I have never seen good photographs of that color. I'm trying to decide if I want to keep it the factory paint code. So, what color it that one? Thanks again.

Ahhh, that makes more sense. The blue car is Acapulco Blue, color code D for 67-68.steve wilson said:
Funny you should say that! There will be new pics this week. I have an appointment to get the exhaust put on the 'vert on Monday, and if all goes well I'll try to fire it up Tuesday! If that goes smoothly, it's about ready to roll out and go right on the road. I've been struggling with this electric high-power brake system for some time, which has been a big time waster. It seems to be a great system, it's just been leaky from some of the factory ports on the master cylinder. Because of the DOHC engine (and the associated lack of working room) it is a big ordeal to access these problem areas. The pushrod was also too long, and even adjusted all the way down the pedal sat waaaaay too high. I still don't have all of the leaks fixed, but I'm working on that as we speak and hopefully will have everything resolved by the end of the day. If not, I'll have to yank the master cylinder again and send it back to them, which will obviously cause more delay. Keep your fingers crossed!

They both have complete suspensions and braking systems, are completely wired including power windows, power door locks, alarm, etc., have the engines and trannys in, and I just ordered the Mass-Flo EFI systems for both. Basically, all 3 cars will hit the road in rapid succession over the next 60 days.

Well, wouldn't you know it...as soon as I open my mouth everything goes down the crapper. After weeks of frustration, there are some inherent flaws with this electric high power brake system and I have decided to sh1t-can the whole works. I am going to get a master cylinder from Bear on Monday and go with manual brakes for now. I even have a feeling that the manual brakes will be great and that's what I'll stick with for the duration. We'll see.
