Thinking about going O/R for the summer...need opinions

Been wanting to try out an O/R pipe this summer before i move to San Diego in September for UCSD, then change back to my catted cuz thier tuner/street racing enforcement is "bend over".
Im thinking either:
Pypes stainless o/r x-pipe which i can get for $150.39 + shipping
Mac o/r H for $155 shipped
Mac o/r X for $160 shipped

Opinions? Better prices somewhere?

Also ill be getting MIL's. Do these switch easily back to the stock 02's for my catted pipe? they look like snap-on-snap-off. I can get a set used for like $15 or new for about $50

just get the Pypes/UPR X and keep it on till you get rolled.

I live in THE OC and i havent been rolled with my off road pipe....its almost been 4 years no roll

i dunno, the no-cat fines are crazy here in Cali as im sure u've heard - and where i live they dont care. But my sis lives outside SD and my bro lives in SD and thats where they make the training vids that teach other departments how to catch and identify illegal mods.

the pypes is off AericanMuscle.com which is 159.99 + 6%dicount, the Mac products i'd get from a private dealer off of corral.net who factors shipping in price, which is pretty cheap.

Same person you got the headlights from right? Great guy. I would just get the Mac O/r H. It sounds so damn good man and being modular even owns.

If its the same guy he quoted me $130 shipped for the pipe.

Yep, he also has the pipes. heres the pm he sent me:

the coated one is $160 and alumized one is $130.either price is shipped anywhere in the 48 states

Just get the alumized one since ur in cally. Im not sure how itll sound with an o/r H. You do have magna's and o/r H's add a loud BLAT as 2500rpm with my flows and with the straight thrus youll get a loud wet Fart sound..... I think. On the inside it sounds like ****, but on the outside it sounds good!

Yeah i have maganflow straight through barrel design resonators with straight through pipe before and after that - so it's hard for me to compare to other exhaust clips

^^ i guess all you can do is try lol. Or just get an o/r X. O/r H verus Catted H is a big differences so im guessing catted x verus o/r is like a new car also.

I've heard of peeps having problems with the "plug and play" versions of MIL eliminators from water n such, but i dont wanna splice the wires cuz i want to be able to change it back to the stockers for smog n such. Anyone else have problems?

just buy the UPR/Pypes X and get some UPR MILS and STFU so your mustang can sound like its supposed too lol

H pipe sounds the best,doesn't matter what cat back you have, if you have a off road H the mustang going to sound nice............

lol just remember, the fine is per-cat. if the amount is a 1000$ fine for removal of a catalytic, and we have 4 stock............

i run no cats as well and have no issues with LEO's about my exhaust (which is only loud when getting on it). i get pulled over for actual things (speeding, etc).
