hello, this is my first time posting here im fron sea bright NJ and i have a 2000 audi S4 right now that i have a decent amount of work done. i ran it once at the track and run a 13.3..... i know it has a 13.0-12.9 in it. but i am looking at a 2003 cobra convertable. it has magnaflow exhuast on it and the place let me take the car for a few hours one day to make sure i liked the car and while i was driving it and i got on it a few times and all i noticed that the boost gauge was pegged at 10psi. i thought that they only made 8psi, is that normal? or is this cobra chipped?
it has 5900 miles, its blue with a black top and there asking $33,900. the car doesnt have a scratch on it.

Point of reference, you might want to go on Forddirect.com crystal ford in Maryland has a Redfire with a black top with 6000 miles asking 29700. Was just a thought don't know what kind of shape its in but might save ya a few grand if you are interested.

(I want an 03 Vert too but I'll probably have to wait til next year after prices drop from new model year.)

How fast did the boost gauge peg? If it slammed to the right, then the car is modded. If it climbed steadily, then it's normal.
That price seems a little high for a used car.
Make sure you get an Oasis report on the vehicle. The report shows warranty repair history and could save you headaches in the future.

Good luck with the purchase. Nice color choice.

Not always, but sometimes.
I suggest you do some more research if you're really interested in buying a used 03 Cobra. You need to know what problems to look for and what questions to ask.
Check out the Terminator forum at svtperformance.com
Lots of invaluable information there.
