Thunderbird/Cougar Charger fit on Stang?

Today my friend, who happens to own a '97 thunderbird, and who always looks for options on his and my cars found on ebay a thunderbird/cougar supercharger may fit on a 3.8 mustang. I don't see why they wouldn't seeing as his 4.6 has the same block as a GT, so why not have a 3.8 fit my 3.8 Well anyway the following link is one of which he found. This is just one option i was thinking about

Does anyone know that this would work for sure and has anyone tried it. I wasn't planning on getting this item and i know that these would be used and all, but its a cheap charger for the time, before i can afford something bigger, plus i would like to get my exhaust first. I was just wondering if this would work. Thanks for the help!

don't try to do the tbird swap it's way too hard and cost more money then a procharger/vortech would cost with wlla ht custom fabrication work... and it would only make like 30-40 more hp where as with the centrifucal you would make ~100 and don't even thin puttting a gm s/c... nothing would fit right... WTF are you thinking ryan!!! :fuss:

there is a kit being developed that will allow you to put an m90 blower on our cars. it will work with any m90, and the one on the gtp is a more advanced model, with better flow characterisitics. it was recommended by the guy who is testing the kit at this moment

the mustang does not have forged internals where the 3.8 tbird your talking about does, and people have thrown rods and whatnot in the past put the roots type on with out beefing the rest of the weak 3.8 stang motor

My Lightning does not have forged internals? I doubt neither does teh GTP's knowing GM.

If you ever compare a roots blower car vs. a centrifugal car that make the same hp...look at the amount of tq the roots car instantly makes vs the centrifugal car having to build into it.
yes, but they are definately better quality then the pistons that come in our 6's...
